WOW! What a weekend for the Black Group. A lot of movement on the season long money money list...including a NEW leader!!
Dan Noonan captured first team (with Paul Beard) in The Oaks game on Saturday and then again (with Gary Goulet) in the CW game on Sunday. Coupled with a $7.00 skin at The Oaks on Saturday Dan picked up a whopping $109.00 in official Black Group earnings over the weekend.
Jeff Francoeur has been on top of the season money list for eight straight weeks, but his three $7.00 skins...a total of $21.00 in official earnings on Saturday, wasn't enough to maintain his position at the top.
In addition to Dan's big move, Paul Beard (winning team on Sat plus a skin); Dan Goland (second team on Sun plus two skins) and Gary Goulet (first team on Sun) also made big moves up the money list.
Congratulations on the good play by all of these players!
Saturday Game at The Oaks - We had two foursomes including four of the five leaders on the money list. In addition, we welcomed new Black Group player Paul Collier who captured two skins in his first ever Black Group round.
The weather was windy, but there were still some good scores.
We paid one winning team (Paul Beard & Dan Noonan) and there were eight skins out.

Sunday Game at Candia Woods - We had ten players for the inaugural Black Group game at Candia Woods. Only one of the top five (Dan Noonan) on the season long money list was entered in the field; he made the most of his opportunity with a team victory!
Dan Goland (now at #6) and Gary Goulet (now at #10) also made big moves on the list; and, first time Black Group players, Chris Rivard and Dan Murphy each had official earnings.
Cool temps and lots of wind made the course play hard but, similar to Saturday, there was some good scoring.
We paid first (Dan Noonan & Gary Goulet) and second team (Dan Goland & Dan Murphy) and there were just four skins out.
